Just a rough outline of how to play A Long Way Down. You really need to feel and 
interpret the minor changes for yourself. Half-step down.

*Aadd11 is just a D on the 9th fret

Intro/outro/filler:
F#m E D Add11 D

Verse:
F#m E D
(on "the girls they move to ya" he does the intro riff)

Chorus:
Bm A D

Play around with hammer ons and such with the D and Aadd11 and you should be golden.
