D= [000232]
G= [320033]

INTRO: C/G  D/G  G  G

VERSE 1:
C/G            D/G             G
Of all the things I believed in.
C/G         D/G            G
I just want to get it over with.
C/G          D/G            G   F#m      Em
Tears form behind my eyes but I do not cry.
A7                              C/G
Counting the days that pass me by.

VERSE 2: (same chords verse 1)
I’ve been searching deep down in my soul.
Words that I’m hearing are starting to get old.
Feels like I’m starting all over again.
The last three years are just pretend.

CHORUS:
         G     D    Em
And I said good-bye to you.
C          G     D            Em     C
Good-bye to everything that I knew.
 G        D      Em
You were the one I loved.
A7                                     C
The one thing that I tried to hold on to.

VERSE 3: (same chords verse 1 and 2)
I used to get lost in your eyes and
it seems that I can’t live a day without
you. closing my eyes,you chase my
thoughts away to a place where I’m blinded
by the light but it’s not right.

CHORUS:
Good-bye to you. Good-bye to everything that
I knew. You were the one I loved.
The one thing that I tried to hold on to.

G  G  C/G  C/G

      G
And it hurts to want
                 C/G
everything and nothing at the same time.
G                          C
I want what’s yours and I want what’s mine.
  C                                    G
I want you but I’m not giving in this time.

CHORUS:
Good-bye to you.
Good-bye to everything that I knew.
You were the one I loved.
The one thing that I tried to hold on to.
The one thing that I tried to hold on to.
Good-bye to you.
Good-bye to everything that I knew.
You were the one I loved

END: G  C

this looks like a pretty good tab. there's one thing that i noticed though. they way you tabbed the "C/G", its not a C/G. you have it tabbed like a C2. just though id tell you. good job though!!

great tab, but a few mistakes. The C/G you mention is not right. It should be called Cadd9 since you adding 9 semi tone on to the high end string. Anyway, the famous D cord is called Dsus2. YOu can play it 3 ways. I personally won't play it your way since on the G string, you are playing a open string, which you should be playing the 3 because as you go up the frets you have to make sure that the notes are not off key, and that one is, so it should look like x54355. But since you don't have 5 fingures, you can play it XX0230 or X57755, which is a bar cord on the 5th fret played with a Asus2 shape. Other thank that, it is a brill tab and I would give it a 5!!!!

I tried using a capo for this tab and it didn't sound right. so i tuned my guitar like this:
E=F
A=B flat
D=E flat
G=G sharp(A flat)
B=C
E=F
i might be wrong but it sounds right when you play along to the acoustic version. good tab, by the way.
