Verse:
Em D/F# G
If I ever left this town
Em D/F# G
I'd never settle down
Em D G
I'd just be wanderin' around
D G
If I ever left this town
Em D/F# G
If I wasn't by your side
Em D/F# G
I'd never be satisfied
Em D G
Nothin' would feel just right
D G
If I wasn't by your side
Chorus:
C D G
'Cause I'm not easy to understand
C D G
But you know me like the back of your hand
C D Em
I'm your girl and your my man
C
And we're makin' plans
Verse:
Em D/F# G
We can go on and on
Em D/F# G
Won't ever feel too long
Em D G
I'll always call you home
D G
And we'll go on and on
Chorus:
C D G
'Cause I know you like the back of my hand
C D G
Got a heart of gold and a piece of land
C D Em
I'm your girl and your my man
C
And we're makin' plans
Em D/F# G
Em D/F# G
Em D G
D G
3rd and 7th line in each verse should be Em D C (not G)
I agree with sfoppema, it's either a C or could be Cadd9 which she uses a lot too. Also in end of the intro where you're picking the open D & G strings I believe that it's suppose to be D G, G, D G INSTEAD of "D G, D G, D G." In other words you've added an extra pluck of of the D string that's not suppose to be there.(I can read tabs, but have never tried to write one out so I hope you can understand that & it helps! lol) But otherwise it's great! Thanks!! :)
thanks so much i love it 5 stars!!!!
