White Christmas
tabbed by Michael Malkemus
This is the way I prefer to play it. I think this key actually sounds better than A.
alternate way with a capo is below.
[Piano Tab / Guitar with no capo]
Ab Bbm Eb
I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
Db Eb Ab Eb7
Just like the ones I used to know
Ab Ab7
Where the tree-tops glisten
Db Dbm
And children listen
Ab Absus4 Ab Eb Bbm Eb
To hear sleigh-bells in the snow
Ab Bbm Eb
I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
Db Eb Ab Eb
With every Christmas card I write
Ab Ab7 Ab Db Dbm
May your days be merry and bright
Ab Db Eb Ab
And may all your Christmases be white
-----
Or you can use a Capo on the first fret for an easier play
Cm = X35543 or X3101X
C9 = X32033 (I like the way C9 sounds w/ the G in the verse)
G Am D
I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
C D G D7
Just like the ones I used to know
G C9
Where the tree-tops glisten
C Cm
And children listen
G C9 G D Am D
To hear sleigh-bells in the snow
G Am D
I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
C D G D7
With every Christmas card I write
G C9 G C Cm
May your days be merry and bright
G C D G
And may all your Christmases be white
Very well done not sure why this got such a low rating. It is way closer than the others. Couple things though after the D at the wnd of line one there is am A6 played as
--1--
--1--
--2--
--2--
--0--
Your really just going for the high F. And secondly the Am-D at the end of verse 1 is actually D7-D. At first glance thats all I got but very nice!
