These warm ups are from a Total Guitar magazine I found, I thought I'd tab
them out because they really helped me with triplets, picking and shredding
speed.

Also, I've tabbed out Matt Heafy's stretching warm ups that I found on
Youtube, they also helped me quite allot.

This may seem like a bit of a pointless tab but this will help if you have
problems with stretching, triplets, picking speed and accuracy.

Matt's warm up

all these notes are triplets
E||-------------------------------------------------------------5-6-8-5-6-8-|
B||-------------------------------------------------5-6-8-5-6-8-------------|
G||-------------------------------------5-6-8-5-6-8-------------------------|
D||-------------------------5-6-8-5-6-8-------------------------------------|
A||-------------5-6-8-5-6-8-------------------------------------------------|
E||-5-6-8-5-6-8-------------------------------------------------------------|

you can do this warm up backwards and
you can replace the 6 with a 7, this
helps train the little finger if you
have problems playing guitar with it

Matt's Youtube stretching warm up

E||----------17-|----------17-|----------12-|----------12-|
B||-------15----|-------14----|-------14----|-------15----|
G||----14-------|----15-------|----15-------|----14-------|
D||-12----------|-12----------|-17----------|-17----------|
A||-------------|-------------|-------------|-------------|
E||-------------|-------------|-------------|-------------|

you can do this over and over again but
changing it by moving it either up or
down a fret.

also, I must warn that if you start to feel a sharp pain
in your wrist/hand or both then immediately stop playing,
this could stop you from playing for a while if you do any
damage, its really not nice

OK that's it hope you liked this tab please rate and enjoy
