THERE'S A FINE, FINE LINE - AVENUE Q
Great song from a great show.
G D Em Am7 D7
There's a fine, fine line between a lover and a friend;
G D Em Am7 D7
There's a fine, fine line between reality and pretend;
G D Em Am7 Cm
And you never know 'til you reach the top if it was worth the uphill climb.
G D Em Am7
There's a fine, fine line between love
D7 G
And a waste of time.
G D Em Am7 D7
There's a fine, fine line between a fairy tale and a lie;
G D Em Am7 D7
And there's a fine, fine line between "You're wonderful" and "Goodbye."
G D Em Am7 Cm
I guess if someone doesn't love you back it isn't such a crime,
G D Em Am7
But there's a fine, fine line between love
D7 G
And a waste of your time.
D G
And I don't have the time to waste on you anymore.
D G
I don't think that you even know what you're looking for.
Em Am7
For my own sanity, I've got to close the door
D7
And walk away...
G D Em Am7 D7
There's a fine, fine line between together and not
G D Em Am7 D7
And there's a fine, fine line between what you wanted and what you got.
G D Em Am7 Cm
You gotta go after the things you want while you're still in your prime...
G D Em Am7
There's a fine, fine line between love
D7 G
And a waste of time.
Pretty good, i think its Cadd9 rather than Am7 but still sounds good and I'd play D/F# where the first D's are. But the only change i would really highlight is that the 3rd D7 in each verse should be Cm other than that it seems spot on.
Watch the bridge, it actually goes from Em to E major and then A major.
