So They Say – Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tabbed By: Michael McGehee (Utopia Complex)
E-mail: Reyolen_kanati@yahoo.com

Tuning: Standard

This is from Act 2 Part 2 of Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog. If you haven’t seen it
you should totally check it out. Anyway, this part starts at 6:18, right after the lines
a good day to be homeless” and “It sure is.” You can find the song by itself here:
http://www.drhorrible.com/

This isn’t really played on a bass guitar as far as I can tell, but the part sounds
sweet, so I tabbed it anyway.

Intro/Verse
G|-----------|--------------------|--------------------|
D|-------6-8-|4----6-------1----3-|4----6-------1----3-|
A|-----------|---4----4-2----4----|---4----4-2----4----|
E|-----------|--------------------|--------------------|

Just listen to the song, the ‘bass’ part typically cycles between these two parts during
verse.

Verse Variant
G|----------------------|
D|4----6-------1----6-8-|
A|---4----4-2----4------|
E|----------------------|

I had a harder time tabbing the fills in the chorus, but if you follow the basic theme
will sound correct. Here’s an example of what I usually play (but it isn’t exactly correct).

Chorus

G|-------------|-------------|-------------|-------------|
D|-------------|4--4--4--4---|-------------|4---4-6-2--4-|
A|2--2—-2--2-4-|-----------4-|2--2--2--2-4-|-------------|
E|-------------|-------------|-------------|-------------|

G|-------------|-------------|6--4------------------|
D|-------------|4--4--4--4---|-----6--4---------6-8-|
A|2--2—-2--2-4-|-----------4-|----------6--4-2------|
E|-------------|-------------|----------------------|

And that’s it! Enjoy everybody.
