                       Holy God - Highway 180
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is a song from the band Highway 180. It will be in their upcoming album in
spring of 2013. This is the bands own work, and is to be used only for giving God
the glory, not for personal benefit.

Chords used:
   A D E
e|-X--2--0--|
B|-2--3--0--|
G|-2--2--1--|
D|-2--0--2--|
A|-0--X--2--|
E|-X--X--0--|

Capo 2 - Key: B

Intro: A-D-E-(E) (2x)

The chords in the intro are strummed once, the (E) means to hold it for a second
measure. The verse is played the same way.

Verse 1:
    A D
He formed the waters
    E
He laid the earth's foundations
 A D
Made every man
     E
And governs the nations

A-D-E-(E) (Same as intro)

 A D
Lovingly He made us
     E
The people of God
  A D
What a great
E
Awesome Father

A-D-E-(E) (Same as intro)

Chorus:
         A D E
You are holy, holy God
         A D E
You are higher, higher Lord
         A D E
You are greater, greater God
    D E A D E (E)
And we will worship You

A-D-E-(E)

Verse 2: (Continue into the verse with the more upbeat tempo)
    A D
He loved His people
     E
And gave them victory
 A D
Led their armies
     E
And they gave Him glory

A-D-E-(E)

    A D
He gave them grace
      E
When they had none
 A D
Gave them love
      E
When they had run

A-D-E-(E)

(Chorus)

Bridge:
     A D
You came to this earth
         E
And You died on a tree
           A D
You were flogged and beaten
 E
All because of me
      A D
You loved so much
      E
The creatures You made
          A D
That You died on a cross
      E
That we might be saved

(Chorus 3x)

End:
    D E A D E (E)
And we will worship You

A-D-E-A (Play same as intro except that the final A is played instead of holding the E chord)

Instead of playing that ending, you could play a small solo piece, but it is your
choice. Here is our solo piece to end the song.
   A D E A D E A
