Tuning: Drop D

I was looking for a tab for this a long time ago but I couldn’t find anything, so I
to do it myself. That didn’t really work. Then I checked back later and I found a tab, but
was tuned a half step down (which is probably accurate, but a hassle if your guitar is
standard tuning like mine), it was missing a few parts, and it was a little messy. So I
it up, put it in drop D, got the missing parts, and here you go.

Intro

e|----------------------------|
B|----------------------------|
G|----------------------------|
D|----7/8--------7/8----------|
A|----7/8--------7/8----------|
D|----7/8--------7/8----------|

*The second guitar keeps playing this until the asterisks in the next part, where it
along with guitar 1.

G|--------------------------------------------------|
D|--8-----1-----5-----3333-55-66-8------1-----3-----|

D|--8-----1-----5-----3333-55-66-8------1-----3-----|
  Pm..................*..........*.............

Intro/chorus riff

*I like playing both guitars in one part; if you want to do that, use the alternate
of the chorus instead of the guitar 1 part. Listen to the song for the rhythm, of course.
note-picking might be hard to hear with all the power chords if you don’t use enough distortion.

[Guitar 1]

e|------------------------------------------|

D|--8-8----8/11----1/5-5----5/333-555-66----|

D|--5-x8--6-x8--1------| x3 |--5--5-xxxxx--6--6-xxxxx--1~--|
A|--3-----4-----1-x16--| |--3--3-xxxxx--4--4-xxxxx--1~--|
D|--------------1------| |--------------------------1~--|

Bridge part 2

*Here’s where the other tab didn’t have anything. The exact notes are hard to hear, but
is what one of the guitars plays; the other guitar either doesn’t play or plays this an
lower. I think the bass also plays these same notes. The rhythm is weird if you’re
to sing and play at the same time, but you can get it if you listen to the song.

B|--4-(44)----------------| x4
G|---------3----0-(00)-1--|

Repeat second half of intro

Repeat chorus; end with:

e|------------------------------|
B|------------------------------|
G|--5--5-xxxxx--6--6-xxxxx------|
D|--5--5-xxxxx--6--6-xxxxx--1~--|
A|--3--3-xxxxx--4--4-xxxxx--1~--|
D|--------------------------1~--|

There you go. This is my first tab too, so I hope you like it.

MCS play half a step down and generally not in drop D! so much easier is to work the chords out in the propper tuning!
