This song is pretty simple, but you can play it with a lot of different strumming
Listen to the recording to get the feel for how John plays it.

Intro: Am G F Am

Am G
feed the kittens in the kitchen.

F Am
set food out for the strays.

Am G
try hard to do your best.

F Am
the magpie will have his way.

fill your mouth with berries
by the full light of the moon.
work all night if you have to.
the magpie comes at noon.

Bridge: (with a somewhat more aggressive strumming pattern) Am G F Am

Intro/Song: Eminor, Gmajor, Dmajor, (squeeze in a Cmajor), Eminor.

The rapid strum between the verses: Gmajor, Dmajor, Cmajor, Eminor.

Play it capo on 12 and fingerpick PIMAMIM the arpeggios.

Clearly wrong. the song is clearly in Em if you listen to the album, and the fast part clearly starts on major and lands on minor, not just the same chords
