So, I took the chords from the live version of this song, played by Marcus Mumford
and Oscar Isaac at the Caffe Vivaldi (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s8q4HfvwAT4).
I guess the version of the movie "Inside Llewyn Davis" will be pretty similar to this one.

- Open D tuning. You can use a standard tuning too.

Chords:
D [000000]
G [500500]
Bm [900800]
A [700700]

D G D
If I had wings like Noah's dove
            Bm G D
I'd fly the river to the one I love
D G D A D
Fare thee well, my honey, fare thee well

D G D
I had a man, who was long and tall
             Bm G D
He moved his body like a cannon ball
D G D A D
Fare thee well, my honey, fare thee well

D G D
I remember one evening in the pouring rain
          Bm G D
And in my heart there was an aching pain
D G D A D
Fare thee well, my honey, fare thee well

D G D
Muddy river runs muddy and wild
               Bm G D
You can't give a bloody for my unborn child
D G D A D
Fare thee well, my honey, fare thee well

D G D
Just as sure as the birds fly high above
   D Bm G
Life ain't worth living without the one you love
D G D A D
Fare thee well, my honey, fare thee well

Open D buddy, the Bm chord is 024050

Intro hammer on 2nd fret of the g and high e string and slide to 4 then 7, then back from 7 to 4 to 2, pull off 2nd fret. Then hammer on 2nd fret on g string and high e, slide to 4th fret quick then pull off, then play thi chord 020100

The lyrics are wrong and it's not a G after the D in the chorus it's 020100 after the D. Elgar is wright though it's intro is hammer on 2nd fret of the g and high e string and slide to 4 then 7 and it also goes up to 9 for a second then back down to 7, 4, 2, pull off 2. Then he goes up to 020100 as he's playing that he slides up a couple frets then back down quickly as part of the intro and then back to D. But like I said the lyrics are wrong and he plays 020100 not G after the D. That should be exactly right. other than that good tab.
