Open C Tuning variation (the one that our friend Jimmy Page uses on some Led Zeppelin songs)

E stays as E
B up to    C
G stays as G
D down to  C
A stays as A
E down to  C


If you are tuning without a tuner and are new to open tunings, you can play the 9th fret 
on the E string next to the open A string, when
they sound the same your bottom E string is tuned to C. When tuning the D string you can 
play it open next to the 3rd fret on the A string,
when they sound the same your D string is tuned down to C. Finally you can play your 
open B string next to the 5th fret on the G string,
when they sound the same your B string is tuned up to C.
