 There already is
a bass tab for this
song but because it
was done with different
tuning I could not read
it.I don't know if that
one is correct but this
one should be. I spent
months just working this
song off and on.
I am 95% sure this is
correct. I have the
DVD of them in Penn.
I watched it and
listened to the song
to figure it out.
 h= hammer on

 Opening
Listen to the song to learn how to play along

 G ---------------------------------------------|
 D-------2--------------2-----------------------|
 A------2-4----------2-4-4----------------------|
 E-22-5---------22-5----------------------------|
                                                2x
 Part 2
 G----------------------------------------------|
 D----------------------------------------------|
 A------------2h4-7-5-----------2--4------------|
 E---2--0h5-------------2--0h5------------------|

 Verse
  Same as the opening
Listen to the song to learn number
of times to play(its a lot of times)

  Pre-Chorus
It goes right from the verse into
the chorus so this is slid in before it.

  G-----------------------------------------|
  D-----------2--4-2------------------2-----|
  A-------2-4-------4-2-----------2-4-------|
  E--22-5---------------5----22-5-----------|
You'll notice that this is the basically the
rock scale so learn that and this will come easily.

  Chorus
This song is very fast paced and the verse flows
   right into the chorus.

    G---------------------------------------------------------|
    D-----000--555--999--11-11-11--------000--555-0h444-777---|
    A---------------------------------------------------------|
    E---------------------------------------------------------|

Next the song goes back into the second part of the opening.
Play that once then go back into the verse.
     Then play the Chorus again.

     Bridge
This is it the hardest and fastest part of the song.
This part could take a little while to get down.
It flows right from the chorus into this bridge and
      it is very quick.

G-----8--10-----------------------8--10------------------------5-7------5-7-|
D----8-----8---6-8-6------------8-------8---6-8-6------------5-----5--55----|
A--------------------8-6-88-----------------------8-6-8----9----------------|
E-------------------------------------------------------6-------------------|

 Part 2
G---8--10---------------------8--10----------------------------------------|
D--8------8---6-8-6---------8-------8---6-8-6------------------------------|
A-------------------8-6-88--------------------8-6-8------------------------|
E----------------------------------------------------6---------------------|

After this it goes right back to
chorus a couple times and then into the ending

    Ending

    G----------------------------------------------------------|
    D----------------------------------------------------------|
    A--2-2-2--4-4-4--5-5-5--0-0-0--2-2-2--4-4-4--5-5-5--0------|
    E----------------------------------------------------------|

Like every other bassist Phil Joel throws in some slides and stuff. Things that would be
hard to explain on here. If you have a good ear you should be able to play perfectly.
