Hey guys, so there are two versions of this song that I'm aware of; the original off
'I', and the reworked version from 'Nightfall Overture'. Both follow the same chordal
structure, but are in different keys, one is a semitone down, and the other is two, not
hard to work out.
Am6 Em
I'm all alone
C Dsus4add9
Waiting for no one
C Dsus4add9 Esus4 E
I see the daylight fade away
Am6 Em
I'm so afraid
C Dsus4add9
I know you're around me
C Dsus4add9 Esus4 E
And I hear you crying in the wind
Am6 Em
If I could bring you back
Am Am/G Am/F#
If I had the power, I'd give you my world
Em
And my life, you'd have it all
Am6 Em
But life is not a game
Am Am/G Am/F#
And I know the rules and I know I must follow
Em
them every single day
C D G

If I could have some peace
Am Am/G Am/F#
Ending the nightmare, closing the chapter

But life is not a game
Am Am/G Am/F#
And I know all the rules and I know I must follow
Em
them every single day
C D G
I feel that I'm loosing it all
