ARTIST - Nine Inch Nails
TITLE - "Piggy (Nothing Can Stop Me Now)"
From the "Further Down the Spiral" EP
Tabbed by: The brain-dead Apocalyzard

TUNING - Standard (EADGBe)

The tab currently up for this song is a bit... umm... make that that QUITE a bit
inaccurate, so I thought I'd tab this song out. It's one of my favorites.
By the way, this song is pretty damn hard, and it was ridiculously hard to tab
(Before I begin, I want to thank the original tabber for pointing out that Dave Navarro
was playing the guitar. If I hadn't known, I'd have probably fucked this tab up a bit.)

OPENING

E|-7--x--7-----|

VERSE ONE
This is when Trent is singing, "Black and blue and broken bones..."
e|-------------|
B|-------7-----|
G|-8--9--6--9--|
D|-9--6--7--6--|
A|-9-----4-----|
E|-7--7-----7--|

"My little piggy needed something new."

E|-7--7--------|

And here it is...
THE CHORUS

A|-2-2-2-x-5-5-5-5-5-5-5-7-*5-*5-*5-*5-*5-*5-*5--3)--|
E|-------x-5-5-5-5-5-5-5-6-*5-*5-*5-*5-*5-*5-*5--2)--|

Listen CLOSELY for the rhythm -- it makes this chorus what it is. The numbers with
asteriks next to them are harmonics. Here, you are supposed to place your finger (one,
not multiple) over the END of fret 5 (The little metal bar after the second dot on your
guitar) and strum. DO NOT press down while doing this. As for the last chord in the
chorus, you're supposed to vibrato the strings (yes, all three at once). If not, I
suppose you can always just bend it. It's supposed to sound screwed up, anyway. Dischord,
and all.

When the chorus repeats, do not play the harmonics. Let the chord ring out instead.

The chorus is looped, meaning the exact same recording is used throughout the song.

VERSE TWO
"Hey pig. Nothing's turning out the way I planned."
e|-------------------------------------------------|
B|-------------7-----------7-------10-------10-----|
G|-7--9--6--9--6--7--9--9-----6--9--9--8--9--9-----|
D|-9--6--7--------6--9--7--9--0-----------6--------|
A|-------4-----------------------------------------|
E|----------7--------7--9--------7--9--7--7--9-----|

"What am I supposed to do? Lost my shit because of you."
e|-2-2---2-2---2---------------------|

G|-4-----2-------2-2---2-1-1---1-----|
D|---------------x-------0-----------|

[INSERT CHORUS HERE]

For the rest of the song, the verse riffs simply repeat. There is a solo under the music
somewhere, and it sounds pretty simple to tab, but I'm currently too lazy to tab it.
Frankly, I don't anyone will even read this tab. If anyone wants me to tab the solo,
just ask.
I bid you adieu.
