Shattered (Turn the car around) by O.A.R

Tuning: Standard

Sorry, the alignment got messed up.

Intro: B B/A#

Verse:

B B/A#
In a way, I need a change
		  G#m
From this burnout scene
	      F#
Another time, another town
	     E
Another everything
	 F# B
But it's always back to you

B B/A#
Stumble out, in the night
		 G#m
From the pouring rain
			F#
Made the block, sat and thought
	       E
There's more I need
     F# B
It's always back to you

Pre-Chorus:

	E B
But I'm good without ya
	  E B
Yeah, I'm good without you
     F# F#
Yeah, yeah, yeah

Chorus:

B
How many times can I break till I shatter?
B/A#
Over the line can't define what I'm after
G#m F#
I always turn the car around
B
Give me a break let me make my own pattern
B/A#
All that it takes is some time but I'm shattered
G#m F#
I always turn the car around

Verse:

B B/A#
I had no idea that the night
		   G#m
Would take so damn long
		    F#
Took it out, on the street
		     E
While the rain still falls
F# B
Push me back to you

Pre-Chorus:

	E F#
But I'm good without ya
	  E F#
Yeah, I'm good without you
     F# F#
Yeah, yeah, yeah

Chorus x1

Solo: B E F# x2

Bridge:

E B5
Give it up, give it up, baby
E B5
Give it up, give it up, now
F# E
Now

Chorus:

B
How many times can I break till I shatter?
B/A#
Over the line can't define what I'm after
G#m F#
I always turn the car around
B
All that I feel is the realness I'm faking
B/A#
Taking my time but it's time that I'm wasting
G#m F#
I always turn the car around

B
How many times can I break till I shatter?
B/A#
Over the line can't define what I'm after
G#m F# B5
I always turn the car around

Outro:

	    F# B5
Don't wanna turn that car around
	F# B
I gotta turn this thing around

this is pretty much exactly how it's played, with the bar 7th fret B cord

I think bhaymore is right on: to make it sound as the acoustic versions sound (to have a descending base note), do bar chords starting with the 7th fret B, then go down accordingly until you hit the E (the first non-barred chord). When the B5 comes up, I would play it (and Marc Roberge, the lead vocals, does this when playing acoustic versions as well) as a normal B bar chord, but only strumming the a, d, and g strings. That's all from me - thank you for the tab - I love it!
