The bit where the bass is only playing, I get bored here and like to
improvise a mslal solo using the chords and the mixolydian scale and
the minor pentatonic scale, try doing that. I also change the rhythm
of the song to make sure I'm playing with the guitars and play the
notes at different points in the fretboard and add more melodic movement
ie slides, slurs, chromatic passing notes etc.
