This version is meant to be played using barre chords, no capo. I found the capo 7 one
to be a little awkward to play, and it sounded kind of strange to me.
If you aren't familiar...

Of Monsters and Men
Love Love Love
Intro: Em D G x4
Em D G
Well maybe I’m a crook for stealing your heart away
Em D G
And maybe I’m a crook for not caring for it
Em D G
Yeah maybe I’m a bad, bad, bad, bad person
Em D G
Well baby, I know
Em D G
And these fingertips, will never run through your skin
Em D G
And those bright blue eyes can only meet mine
Em D G
across a room filled with people that
Em D G
are less important than you
Em D G D
Because you love, love, love when you know I can’t love
Em D G D
You love, love, love when you know I can’t love
Em D G D G D
You love, love, love when you know I can’t love, you..
Em D G x4
Em D G Em D G
So I think it’s best we both forget before we dwell on it
Em D G
The way you held me so tight all through the night
Em D G
Till it was near morning
Em D G D
Because you love, love, love when you know I can’t love
Em D G D
You love, love, love when you know I can’t love
Em D G D G D
You love, love, love when you know I can’t love, you..
Em D G D
Because you love, love, love when you know I can’t love
Em D G D
You love, love, love when you know I can’t love
Em D G D G D
You love, love, love when you know I can’t love, you..
Em D G x7
its meant to be played with CAPO on the 7th
if you are gonna play it this way you'll need to replace that D with this:
7|9|7|9|8|7
Is that even a real chord!?
I just tried it out & it sounds terrible. Both by itself & with the Em & G.
I agree the D listed above also sounds maybe just a tad off, but they are on the right track.
Anyone else got some other ideas?
For the chorus it should be
C, D, G, D
There shouldn't be a minor in the chorus
Should end "C, D" instead of "G, D"
