sounds good 2 me
In the Pre-Chorus (or the sweet guitar riff, whatever you want to call it) you play it using single notes. If you play it with power chords you acheive a better sounding pre-chorus. The chords are:
e|----------------------------
B|----------------------------
G|-10--13-12-13----13-12-13---
D|-10--13-12-13-11-13-12-13-13
A|--8--11-10-11-11-11-10-11-13
E|---------------9----------11
continuing:
e|----------------------------
B|----------------------------
G|-13-12-13-15-13-12-8-10-----
D|-13-12-13-15-13-12-8-10-(let ring)
A|-11-10-11-13-11-10-6--8-----
E|----------------------------
The last bit is a little different than yours but try it, you'll like it!

CORRECTION TO THE ABOVE CORRECTION
Since the tabs screwed up the notes on the E string belong to the chords that are played on the A and D string but NOT the G string!!
Sorry about that
