Below are the chords to "When I Go." It is played very simply and sung freely and
soulfully. Its a great song to work on if you are learning barre chords.

the verses are: C#m, G#, F#m (G#*) A
*the G# in parenthesis is a single note walk down on the 6th string

the chorus is: E, Ab, C#m, F#m (Ab), A, C#m, F#m (Ab) A

Bridge: Ab, C#m, A, E, D, A

so it goes like this:

intro: C#m, Ab, F#m (Ab) A

Verse:

[C#m] It makes a difference, [G#] when you walk through a [F#m] room (G#) [A] with that worrisome
[C#m] smile [G#] road weary per [F#m] fume. (G#) [A] but this isn't the [C#m] place [G#] and this
isn't the [F#m] time (G#) [A] for this beautiful de [C#m] lusion [G#] that is robbing me [F#m]
blind. (G#) [A]

Chorus:

[A] and i want to [E] know [G#] i want to [C#m] know [F#m] (G#) [A] will it make a [C#m] difference
[F#m] (G#) [A] when i [C#m] go --- ( stay on C#m for Verse 2 and bridge)

Verse 2

Bridge:

[G#] what is a love if the [C#m] love's not my own and this is [A] not my home this is [E] lonely
but [D] never A[A]lone

Instrumental Verse

Verse 3

Chorus

the picking pattern is very simple something like (5, 3, 2, 1, 2, 3, 4, 3, 2, 1, 2, 3) starting on
5 or 6 (whatever the bass note is.) well, hopefully this makes sense! let me know if you have any
questions or comments or changes!

peace!
