The riff is finger picked and continues for the duration of the verse. The chords are 
by the bass but can be played as is.

This occurs before the vocals come in, as well as after the chorus. The A strum begins 
the last eighth of the previous measure. The last measure of G occurs at the end of the 
Variation the second time through and leads into the Verse.
