Pink Floyd: Wish You Were Here (ver 5)
In memory of Michael David Winans
Modified by Matt Winans
This version is the one I play in memory of my brother, Michael David Winans who passed
on Feb. 5th, 2009.
It was his favorite song and he played this song himself quite often.
This is my first tab, and is modified from version 4 with a lot of errors fixed.
I replaced Solo 2 with the rhythm guitar because it's how I play the song and sounds decent.
I would encourage others to do the same unless you are as pro at bending acoustic
as David Gilmore.
Key:
h - hammer on
p - pull off
b - bend string up
/ - slide

OMG I'm so sorry for your brother, what a beautiful thing to do. Man this is a great tab thanks a lot
great job man :) i am also sorry for your loss :(
This is a great tab, and im sure everyone has noticed it by now or will soon and I just hate to have to be the a**hole to point it out. At the end where he says "lost souls swimming in a fish bowl..." the G,D, and C chords need to be shifted forward a little bit. like the G starts more around the words Year after year. This is an excellent song, and it reminds me of my friend, who also passed away recently.
