I'm sure in the verse when Brian sings while playing the acoustic  
there is no bass but here's a bass line which goes quite well under it 
if you want to play along:

Repeat something like 4 times (I don't have the albumn on me at the moment) but
on the last time before the didgeredoo comes in end on the 4th fret on the E string.

The next bit is where Brian does a sort of a solo:
