"Rose Of Cimarron" 1976 Rusty Young - steel guitar, guitar, vocals
Rusty Young said of the song: "'Rose of Cimarron' is a song I wrote after I picked up a
brochure while we [Poco] were on tour in Oklahoma in 1973. It told a story of a woman
who took in outlaws in the 1800's. She fed them, mended their wounds and sent them on
their way. Or so they say. ... [W]hen I played 'Rose' for the band, everyone wanted to
make it
a Poco record."

Pretty good overall, but the second chord in the chorus progression should be G#m (that is, a Bbm without the capo) instead of a B.

So, without the capo

Chorus
[F#]Ro-ll along, roll [Bbm]o-n, [B]Ro-se of Cima[F#]rron
[F#]Du-sty days are [Bbm]go-ne, [B]Ro-se of Cima[F#]rron

From what I've seen of the band, the guitarist didn't use a capo. The song is in F#, but Rusty Young appeared to have tuned down a half-step in order to play G Bm C G chord shapes for the chorus.
