Cape Connection, by Pop Will Eat Itself
  [===============================================]

..Tabbed out by my bass teacher and I.

Here's the bassline to Cape Connection by the incredible pwei. This baby is
my favorite on DDMA, its a nice one. The bass is really really layered in
there at some parts, but everything here is as accurate as you're going to
get. Now if only someone would tab the guitar, eh..?

Part A:
         /this is played about 10x ..then comes this\ ( after 'bitten..' )
  G:|-------------------------------|----------------------------------|
  D:|-------------------------------|----------------------------------|
  A:|-------------------------------|--------------------6-6-6-6/5-5---|
  E:|-7/6-6--4-4-4-4--4/6-6--7-7-7--|-7/6-6--4-4-4-4/6-6---------------|

  G:|-----------------------------------------------|
  D:|-----------------------------------------------|
  A:|-6-6-6-6-5-5-----------------------------------|
  E:|--------------7-7-7-7-6-6--7-7-7-7-6-6--7-7-7--|

Part B:

  G:|-----------------------------------------------|
  D:|-----------------------------------------------| <- Part B/1
  A:|-------------------2-4-4-4-4--6-6-6-6----------|
  E:|-6-6-6-6--4-4-4-4------------------------------|

  G:|-----------------------------------------------|
  D:|-----------------------------------------------| <- Part B/2
  A:|-------------------2-4-4-4-4--6p4h6p4----------|
  E:|-6-6-6-6--4-4-4-4------------------------------|

then play Part B/1 again, and then B/2.

Part C:

         play 3x
  G:|----------------|
  D:|----------------| I'm not sure what's going on with the 4?, it's
A:|----------------| neigh impossible to make it out.. try playing 4
E:|-8p6h8p6--4?----| once, or three times, or pull it.. whatever you like.

play this after playing the above
  G:|----------------|
  D:|----------------|
  A:|-4-4-4--6p4h6p4-|
  E:|----------------|

[===========================================================================]

There's all the bass in the song, to my knowledge.. you put it all together
like this..

A..B..C..C..B..B..A..B..C..C..C..A

Or something like that.. :)

That wraps that up, enjoy it. Anyone else who has poppie tabs, send them up!!

"no pop, no style.. is a phrase out of
phase to praise what's worthwhile.. this is
as good as it gets! this is the best!"
