Time Flies-Puddle of Mudd
double drop D- DADGBd

this song definitely has more than one guitar, but this is a modification
of the book for one acoustic
Rhythym One:
d-------4p2---------3p2---------2------------6-|
B-----3-----3-----3-----3-----3---3--------6---|
G---2-----------2-----------0-------0----5-----|
D-0-----------3-----------2------------6-------|
A----------------------------------------------|
D----------------------------------------------|
End Rhythym One
You play that for awile as the intro
Then you strum these two chords during the prechorus
Just go between these chords until he starts singin "time flies"
Pre-Chor:
d---0---0---|
B---3---3---| listen to the song
G---0---0---| for how to play them
D---2---0---| exactly
A---3---2---|
D-----------|

for the chorus you get to use the lower strings:
Chorus
d----------------|
B----------------| thats just the progression,
G----------------| but the timing is easy to figger out
D-6--5--0--3--2--|
A-6--5--0--3--2--|
D-6--5--0--3--2--|

once the chorus starts ("time flies") start this
Rhythym Two:
d--------6-----------6-----------5-----------5-------|
B------6---6-------6---6-------6---6-------6---6-----|
G----5-------5---5-------5---4-------4---4-------4---|
D--6-----------6-----------5-----------5-------------|
A----------------------------------------------------|
D----------------------------------------------------|
cont..
d--------0-----------3-----------3p2---------2----------|
B------3---3-------3---3-------3-----3-----3---3--------|
G----2-------2---2-------2---2-----------0-------0------|
D--0-----------0-----------3-----------2----------------|
A-------------------------------------------------------|
D-------------------------------------------------------|
cont...
d--------6-----------6-----------5-----------5-------|
B------6---6-------6---6-------6---6-------6---6-----|
G----5-------5---5-------5---4-------4---4-------4---|
D--6-----------6-----------5-----------5-------------|
A----------------------------------------------------|
D----------------------------------------------------|
End Rhythym Two

now start strummin through these chords
d--0--0--0--0-|
B--3--3--3--3-| ill let you figger out the timing,
G--2--0--0--0-| but the progression sounds great almost
D--0--2--0--3-| no matter what you do to it, almost
A-----3--2--X-|
D-----------3-|
"one more pill..."
now go through the pre-chorus, then chorus then start this:
d--------6-----------6-----------5h6p5-----------5-----|
B------6---6-------6---6-------6------6-------6----6---|
G----5-------5---5-------5---4--------------4--------4-|
D--6-----------6-----------5--------------5------------|
A------------------------------------------------------|
D------------------------------------------------------|

d--------0-----------3-----------3p2-------2h3p2-------|
B------3---3-------3---3-------3---------3-------3-----|
G----2-------2---2-------2---2---------0-----------0---|
D--0-----------0-----------3---------2-----------------|
A------------------------------------------------------|
D------------------------------------------------------|

d--------6-----------6-----------5h6p5-----------5-----|
B------6---6-------6---6-------6-------6-------6---6---|
G----5-------5---5-------5---4---------------4-------4-|
D--6-----------6-----------5---------------5-----------|
A------------------------------------------------------|
D------------------------------------------------------|

this is where it starts rambling on at the end just mess around
and throw in radom riffs slowing down and speeding up as you feel
it can be a good thing not to sound like the original and throw
this in every now and then

just strum aroud these two chords
e--0--0--|
B--8--7--|
G--7--7--|
D--8--0--|
A--------|
D--------|

great song, fastish rhythym, and room to improv. have fun
