Intro: Gtr. 1

e------------------------------------|
B------------------------------------| x8, then x6 w/ heavy distortion & power
G------------------------------------| chords
D------------------------------------|
A------------------------------------|
E--0--2--2--0--2--0--2--5--7---------|
---0--2--2-----2-----2--5--7---------|

what Morrello does on the recording is he plays the above riff, but overdubs the other
with an echo box (i wrote gtr. 2's riff, the 'other' riff, right underneath guitar 1's to
the correct timing). This creates the illusion that he is playing 16th notes.

chorus to verse link riff

e-------------------|
B-------------------|
G-2--------1--------|
D----4--0-----4--0--|
A-------------------|
E-------------------|

verse riff

e----------------------------------------------------------------------|
B----------------------------------------------------------------------|
G----------------------------------------------------------------------| x8
D----------------------------------------------------------------------|
A--4--4-x-x-4--4-x-x-4--4-x-x-4--4-x-x-4--4-x-x-4--4-x-x-4--4-x-x-4--4-|
E--2--2-x-x-2--2-x-x-2--2-x-x-2--2-x-x-2--2-x-x-2--2-x-x-2--2-x-x-2--2-|

bridge riff is the same thing as the intro/chorus riff without the power chords and
a wah wah pedal

solo: [morrello uses an octave multiplier and a wah wah to get this sound)

e---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
B---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
G---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
D-----------------7-----------------7-----------------7---------------------|
A--9--7--9--7--9-----9--7--9--7--9-----9--7--9--7--9------------------------|
E--------------------------------------------------------0--0--0--0--0--0---|

----------------------------------------------------------------------------|
----------------------------------------------------------------------------|
----------------------------------------------------------------------------|

-12p10--12--10--12-----------12p10---9--8--6--5--|
-------------------------------------------------|

i'm a little unsure about the final 9th chords and the last bit of the solo, but i think
right

final riff

e--------------------------|
B--------------------------|
G--------------------------| x6, but last two times add pick scratching in
D--------------------------| the rest time in between repetitions
A------2/4----2/4-----2/4--|
E--0h2-----0h2----0h2------|

sequencing:

intro

chorus to verse link riff

verse riff

chorus riff

chorus to verse link riff

verse riff

chorus riff

bridge

solo

The solo is actualy done with a kill switch set one tone nob to 10 and the other to 0 and set one volume nob to 10 and the other to 0 hammer on each of the note and flick the killswitch (or pickup select if you don't have a killswitch)up and down to make the wah wah sound.

Also did you write the intro for a seven string guitar?
