Rancid
"Roots Radical"
From "...And out come the Wolves"
-------------------------------------
Notes: This song was tabbed out by watching live
videos and listening to the song, and I had alittle
help from other tabs, but only minor help.

m = Palm Mute
/ = Slide
^ = Bend
-------------------------------------
Verses:
e|-------------------------------------------------|
B|-----1-----1-----------------------------1-----1-|
G|-----0-----0-----------------------------0-----0-|
D|-----2-----2-----3-----3-----------3-----2-----2-|
A|-3-3-3-3-3-3-----3-----3-----2-----3-3-3-3-3-3-3-|
E|-------------1-1-1-1-1-1-3-3-3-1-1-1-------------|
   m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m

Pre Chorus:(Progression, you can figure out how long to hit each chord yourself)

e|-------|
B|-------|
G|-3---0-|
D|-3-3-0-|
A|-1-3-2-|
E|---1-3-|

Chorus (Progression, again you can figure out the chord length yourself)

e|-0---3-|
B|-1---0-|
G|-0-1-0-|
D|-2-3-0-|
A|-3-3-2-|
E|-0-1-3-|

The chorus progression repeats but on the last line "the reggae on my stereo" it skips
the F and plays the G longer then normal.

Bridge:

Guitar 1:
e|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
B|-------------------------------------1-------------------------------------|
G|-------------------------------------0-------------------------------------|
D|-3-----------------------------------2-------------------------------------|
A|-3-----------------------------------3-------------------------------------|
E|-1-------------------------------------------------------------------------|
"yeah yeah, yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah"

Guitar 2:

e|----7/8-8-8-7/8-8-8-11-11-11-11--------------------------|
B|----7/8-8-8-7/8-8-8-11-11-11-11--------------------------|
G|--------------------------------------6-8-8^-6-8-8^-6----|
D|-3-------------------------------3--8-----------------8--|
A|-3-------------------------------3-----------------------|
E|-1-------------------------------1-----------------------|

The 3rd time through guitar 2 plays the first lead part again and on the forth instead
of going to the C both guitars hits a G and lets it ring.

Im pretty sure thats it, here is the order:

Verse 1
Pre Chorus
Chorus
Verse 2
Pre Chorus
Chorus
Bridge
Verse 3
Chorus
Chorus/end

Lyrics:

Took the 60 bus,
Out of downtome Campbell,
Ben Zanotto he was on there
he was waiting for me.
All the punk rockers,
and the moon stompers,
Are out on the corners
where their spareing for change.
I started thinking,
you know I started drinking,
I dont remember too much of that day.
Something struck me funny
when we ran out of money,
where do you go when you're only 15?

With the music execution and
the talk of revolution, it bleeds in me,
and it goes...

Give em the boot, the roots, the radicals,
Give em the boot, you know Im a radical,
Give em the boot, the roots,
the reggae on my stereo.

The radio was playing
Desmon Dekker was singing,
On the 43 bus as we climb up the hill.
Nothing incoming but the reggae drumming
and we all come from unloving homes.
Why even bother I pick up the bohle,
Mr.Bus driver please let these people off.
Rude girl Carol was a mini-skirt girl and my,
blurried vision saw nothing wrong.
