My Deliverer
Rich Mullins
Verse 1:
Dm A# F
Joseph took his wife and her child and they went to Africa
A# F AsusA
To escape the rage of a deadly king
Dm A# F
There along the banks of the Nile Jesus listened to the song
A# F AsusA
That the captive children used to sing
They were singing
Chorus:
Dm A# Dm A# F C A# C
My Deliverer is coming, my Deliverer is standing by (2x)
Verse 2:
Dm A# F
Through a dry and thirsty land water from the Kenyan heights
A# F AsusA
Pours itself out of Lake Sangra's broken heart
Dm A# F
There in the Sahara winds Jesus heard the whole world cry
A# F AsusA
For the healing that would flow from his own scars
The world was singing
Chorus:
Dm A# Dm A# F C A# C
My Deliverer is coming, my Deliverer is standing by (2x)
A# F A# F C A#
He will never break his promise, He has written it upon the sky

My Deliverer is coming, my Deliverer is standing by (2x)
Chorus:
Em C Em C G D C D
My Deliverer is coming, my Deliverer is standing by (2x)
C G C G D C
I will never doubt his promise, though I doubt my heart I doubt my eyes
Em C Em C G D C D
My Deliverer is coming, my Deliverer is standing by (2x)
Chorus:
Fm C# Fm C# G D# C# D#
My Deliverer is coming, my Deliverer is standing by (2x)
C# G# C# G# D# C#
He will never doubt his promise though the stars should break faith with the sky
Fm C# Fm C# G D# C# D#
My Deliverer is coming, my Deliverer is standing by (2x)
Chorus fade out
Two things:
1) It sounds very nice, I just think that in the first verse sounds better if you add a "C" after Bb and before F.
and 2) With "AsusA" do you mean "Asus4"?
I submitted another version on Capo, but this one is very nice as well.
Thank You! May Jesus bless you! Get ready.
In the last chorus, the G should be a G#, other than that I loved your chord chart, very easy to maneuver.
