Swing Life Away - Rise Against

Chords by: Erik "Millen"

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is my first tab here on Ultimate-guitar.
I found a tab for this song, but it was hard to play and you had to tune down you
guitar to Eb.
But this is in STANDARD TUNING. Probobly not the same key as original, but it'll do!
Try playing with capo to find the right key!
All this is played with very much PALM MUTE but lighter in the chorus!
Maybe you think this sucks, well then, make your own and post it!!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Intro: Pick: Am[or F], G x2 ---> end on G ~"let ring"

Verse: Am, C, F x2
	Am, C, F, G x1

Chorus: Am, C, F x3
	 Am, C, F, G x1

End:	Am, C, F         x4 ---> end on Am ~"let ring"

     N.C Am C F
Am I loud and clear, or am I breaking up
                   Am C F
Am I still your charm, or am I just bad luck
        Am C F G
Are we getting closer, or are we just getting more lost
    N.C Am C F
I'll show you mine, if you show me yours first
                  Am C F
Let's compare scars, I'll tell you who's is worse
          Am C F G
Let's unwrite these pages and replace them with our own words

   Am C F
We live on front porches and swing life away
   Am C F
We get by just fine here on minimum wage
   Am C F
If love is a labour I'll slave 'till the end
   Am C F G
I won't cross these streets until you hold my hand

Been here so long, think that it's time to move
The winter's so cold, summer's over too soon
Let's pack our bags and settle down where palm trees grow
I've got some friends, some that I hardly know
But we've had some times, I wouldn't trade for the world
We chased these days down with talks of the places that we will go

We live on front porches and swing life away
We get by just fine here on minimum wage
If love is a labour I'll slave 'till the end
I won't cross these streets until you hold my hand

Am C F
Swing life away x4

End: Am

It's not in the same key as the song, but I find it's better for me to sing with because it's not so low
good job
