Standard Tuning

           D A A7
when the roll is called up yonder i believe that i'll be there

                 G F#m G A
though I am the same man with the same need as always

         D A A7
so they say, the sole is free to choose a path, to each his own

                    G F#m G A7
we're livin in the same world under the same pale moon together

**Chorus

     G D G A
and some change will do us all some good

    G D A A7
its so good for one to find

      D A G D G A D
that there is no stairway to heaven, only a bridge divine

**end Chorus

               D A A7
they tell me change, change is needed to keep the world from growin old

                      G F#m G A
and we all have the same dreams for our children as always

                D A A7
He formed the earth upon nothing, said to a stone, peace be still

                       G F#m
so what more could we give them than something that would keep them safe for

  G A
forever

**Chorus

     G D G A
and some change will do us all some good

    G D A A7
its so good for one to find

      D A G D G A G D A D
that there is no stairway to heaven, only a bridge divi-i-ine

**end Chorus

               D A A7
they tell me hearts are torn asunder by the pain of movin on

                     G F#m G A
we're riding on the same rails on a train thats bound for forever

            D A A7
i hope you know your still my good friend when the saints go marchin in

                 G F#m G A
i would like to turn and see your face so be there

**Chorus

     G D G A
and some change will do us all some good

    G D A A7
its so good for one to find

      D A G D G A G D A D
that there is no stairway to heaven, only a bridge divi-i-ine

       D A G D G A D
That there is no stairway to heaven, only a bridge divine
