			     IT'S TRICKY - RUN-D.M.C.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tabbed by: Chris Parker (Chris_Parker)

Hey, this is my first bass tab, but I think fifth overall. I listened to
the song, looked at the guitar tab, and have been tweaking the bass part so
it turns it into less of a sampled kind of sound, and would be great live.
What that means, basically, is that I've just jazzed up the song with some
more notes.

You can play it this way, or the way it's "played" in the song, it doesn't
matter, but if you want the straight-from-the-masters sound, just hit the lower notes of
power chords in the guitar tab and your good.

The bass basically doubles the guitar in this song, so it's not too
complicated. I slap it in 8th or 16th notes (forget the numerical tempo)
for fun, but play it how you want.

Anyway, my "version" of It's Tricky by RUN-D.M.C.

Playing Notes:

-Repeat the Main Riff for the verses and choruses.

-I put that (6) in the last part because as I slide my hand up to get to
the 8 with my pinkie, my index finger still kind of stays on the fourth
string
and holds the note.

-Basically, at the end of every chorus and the end of every line of the
verse, you play the section marked by the dollar sign ($) above, just so
you can time it right.

-In those parts that are "--" between notes, I tend to put in a fret-muted
slap for fun, and because that's how I play guitar (I'm primarily a
guitarist, I'm actually borrowing the bass I'm tabbing this on!).

-In the first couple of verses, it's cool to substitute the ending
|---------| |-----------|
|-------8-| |-----------|
|---------| for this: |-----------|
|-4/6\4/6-| |-4/6\4/6\0-|

(It's also fun to slide out of the 6+8 octave thing)

Enjoy!
