D|---0----3-----0------0-----------0------|

D Em G
They say love keeps on growing
           Cadd9 G Cadd9
It's the one thing that I've felt I've always known
D Em G
Cause it wouldn't matter where you're going
      Cadd9 G Cadd9
Cause where you are is where I wanna go
D F G
I know why the heart gets lonely
A#6b5 Bm#5add11 D
Every time you give your love away
D F G
And if you think that you are only
A#6b5 Bm#5add11
A shadow in the wind
A#6b5 Bm#5add11 Cadd9 G
Rolling round but when you let somebody in
                   D
They might fade away

D Em G
Tell me why the road keeps turning
     Cadd9 G Cadd9
When everything you want is straight ahead
D Em G
And every thing I thought worth learning
 Cadd9 G Cadd9
Is forgotten when I see your face instead

D F G
I know why the heart gets lonely
A#6b5 Bm#5add11 D
Every time you give your love away
D F G
And if you think that you are only
A#6b5 Bm#5add11
A shadow in the wind
A#6b5 Bm#5add11 Cadd9 G
Rolling round but when you let somebody in
                   D
They might fade away

F Em
All you say is so overrated
G D
Holding on to yesterday
F Em A
Along the way, it can get too complicated to say

(Lead solo on Chorus Chords)

Every time YOU GIVE YOUR LOVE away
D F G
And if you think that you are only
A#6b5 Bm#5add11
A shadow in the wind
A#6b5 Bm#5add11
You better think again

And if you think that you are only
A#6b5 Bm#5add11
Flowers in the wind
A#6b5 Bm#5add11
Blowin' round the wind
    Cadd9 G D
You let somebody in they might fade away
D
Fade away
