This is technically Flake Music (James Mercer's previous band), but whatever. This tab is MOSTLY
correct, but it is my first one so I can't promise it's perfect. Also, the notes I posted in the
instrumental sections are a combination of the lead guitar and bass in the effort to make it
sound as good as possible when performing this solo.

Intro: x2

E|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|

Verse 1:

E F# C#m A
I want you on my side

E F# C#m A
To take the hard shots with me

E F# C#m A
You make it easy to decide

E F# C#m A
You showed all your feathers to me

Instrumental 1: x4 (He plays variations of these, but I didn't figure those out)

            D A

e|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
B|-----------------10-9-7-5--------------------------------------------------|
G|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
D|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
A|-------------------------------------------------------/7/4--4-5-4---------|
E|-------------------------------------------------------------------5-------|

Verse 2:

E F# C#m A
There's a trail that ends tonight

E F# C#m A
Within the walls of this living room

E F# C#m A
All of my thoughts that weren't so lost

E F# C#m A
Oh what a fun group that'll be

Instrumental 2: x4 (He plays variations of these, too)

                   D A

e|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
B|-----------------10-9-7-5--------------------------------------------------|
G|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
D|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
A|-------------------------------------------------------/7/4--4-5-4---------|
E|-------------------------------------------------------------------5-------|

Then:

E F# C#m A x4

Verse 3:

E F# C#m
Like two strays in a terminal

E F# C#m
    Throwing cinders into the sky

E F# C#m
    Drifting leaves while stoned aside

E F# C#m A
This is the race we're meant to run
