Lyrics:
And drown you out
And left you with the sounds
We'll spoil goodnights
Replacing lullabies
How could they never notice
What they planted in your spades
I see you laughing in a picture
But I know what's out of frame
You barely cried
But you made it out alive
And I'm so proud
That you're in my hands now
If we grew up together
You would find it's not the same
I want to jump inside that picture
And show you what you'd gain (became?)
If we can stay here long enough
We can play with Bloody Mary
Say her name into the dark
Activate our nerve endings
If we can stay here long enough
We can play with Bloody Mary
And she can chase us through the dark
Activate our nerve endings
If we stay
I'll never let them get closer
Or shower you with any blame
Now we're dancing in our own picture
Where the rules have changed
If we can stay here long enough
We can play with Bloody Mary
Say her name into the dark
Activate our nerve endings
If we can stay here long enough
We can play with Bloody Mary
And she can chase us through the dark
Activate our nerve endings
And stay
The Abm is actually a G#m. The intro goes from B-G#m, not B-E.F#-G#m-E, not B. Though the song is in the key of B, it only plays the B chord during the intro, initial verses, and the "we'll stay" breakdown.
The pre-chorus is
... G#m and Abm are the same chord. G# and Ab are enharmonic with one another.
