where it says don't play the first chord for the first bit of the chorus this time, that actually means when pierre bouvier (the lead singer for simple plan) sings the line shut up shut up shut up don't hear it, that's the line you don't play the fist chord of the chorus for but it's also the only part of the song you don't play the first chord of the chorus.
