I have been looking all over the internet for a correct tab of this song.
A lot of people have come close and thanks to all of you.
But I had to go and do this the old fashioned way.
I hope this helps. The album version of this song is dubbed with many guitars
(much like Adams Song by Blink 182 is)
but I minimized it to 3.
Anyway it is 100 percent right and
if you think something's wrong just submit your corrections to me @ justin.davin@usmc.mil.
Anyway I have the whole song tabbed out, as well as the lyrics,
with some chords I use for an acoustic version when playing live.
The chords aren't all correct, I am well aware of it.
They just sound good on an acoustic when you're singing.

SONG: ANGEL
ARTIST: SLICK SHOES
ALBUM: WAKE UP SCREAMING copyright Tooth and Nail Records, 2000.
TUNING: E STANDARD

This is the bass intro, if you want to learn it on guitar.
If you want to play it on a bass just drop down two strings
and add two to the frets.

This is the guitar part in the intro.
It's played after the bass riff goes through one time.
I play this with a nice distortion on it.
Figure out the rhythm yourself by listening to the song.
As stated earlier there are multiple guitars so this may be difficult for you.
Just practice it until you have the hang of it.

LYRICS and CHORDS for ACOUSTIC

B5 F#5 E5 F#5 B5
Looking into your eyes I see all I want to be
           F#5 E5
And I don't want it to end
B5 F#5 E5 F#5
If I could only put into words the way I see you
B5 F#5 E5
I only know I have an angel with me now

E5 F#5 Ab5 F#5
And when I fall asleep your all that I see
E5 F#5 Ab5 F#5
You're in my thoughts and all of my prayers
E5 F#5 Ab5 F#5
I wish I could mean all that you mean to me
B5Ab5B5C#5 E5 F#5
My angel without wings (My angel)

B5 F#5 E5 F#5
I wish you could see all that you mean to me
B5 F#5 E5 F#5
But I could never find the words to tell you

     E5 F#5 Ab5 F#5
That when I fall asleep you're all that I see
E5 F#5 Ab5 F#5
You're in my thoughts and all of my prayers
E5 F#5 Ab5 F#5
I wish I could mean all that you mean to me
    E5 F#5 Ab5 F#5
And when I fall asleep your all that I see.
E5 F#5 Ab5 F#5
You're in my thoughts and all of my prayers.
E5 F#5 Ab5 F#5
I wish I could mean all that you mean to me.
B5
My angel without wings.

Thats the whole song. It didn't take too long to figure it out,
but it took forever to tab it.
If you have any questions, comments, concerns, or corrections;
send me an email.

And just so everyone knows what kind of setup
I used to get the tone while tabbing this.
I used a Tom Delonge Signature Epiphone es-33
with a Gibson Dirty Fingers pickup in the bridge position
through a Marshall Full stack
with the gain at about 7 to 8.
Make sure that your mid tones are set
just a little bit higher than the bass and treble too.
Good luck and I hope you enjoyed my tab.
