Disarm-Smashing Pumpkins

Played mostly with 8th notes with the occasional 16th at some chord changes

Intro

Em7 Cadd9 G D/F# x2

Verse 1

Em7 Cadd9
Disarm you with a smile

G D/F#
and cut you like you want me to

Em7 Cadd9
cut that little child

G D/F# Em7
inside of me and such a part of you

       Cadd9 G Em7
ooh, the years burn

       Cadd9 G D C
Ooh, the years burn

Chorus

C Em7
I used to be a little boy

D C
so old in my shoes

                                            Em7
and what i choose is my choice

                D C
What's a boy supposed to do?

                                                            Em7
The killer in me is the killer in you

D C
my love

I send this smile over to you

Bridge

Em7 D Em Em7 D C

Verse 2

Em7 Cadd9
Disarm me with a smile

G D/F#
and leave you like you left me here

Em7 Cadd9
to wither in denial

G D/F# Em7
The bitterness of one who's left alone

    Cadd9 G D/F# Em7
Ooh, the years burn

   Cadd9 G D C
Ooh, the years burn, burn, burn

Chorus 2
                                  Em7
I used to be a little boy

D C
So old in my shoes
                                             Em7
And what I choose is my voice

D C
What's a boy supposed to do?

                                                    Em7
The killer in me is the killer in you,

D C
my love

                                             D
I send this smile over to you

                      Em C
The killer in me is the killer in you

                                            D
Send this smile over to you

                      Em C
The killer in me is the killer in you

That would work as well. I guess that I would play it as Cadd9 myself just because it makes the change to G sound more dramatic. I dont know, I suppose it all depends on what is easiest and what the individual likes :)
