This is a great deliverence from the band on a really nice sounding hard rock rendition their hit song "Disarm" from the '93 album "Siamese Dream". If you already know the chords to the original song, then thats a good start, but i will list the song's chords to help you play it. Obviously, the difference is that it is on the guitar in more of an arena sized power rock style than you might play on a gentle for such an emotional song. "Disarm you with a smile..." -0---------3----3---------------| -0----1----3----3---------------| -x----0----0----0-0-------------| -2----2----0----0-0-------------| -2----3----x----x---------------| -0---------3----3-2-------------| These are the chords used. Listen to the track, and its easy to work out how its being played// James and Billy are both doing this riff Then before you go into the chorus... "Burnt, Burnt" -------------------------| -3-----1-----------------| -2-----0-----------------| -0-----2-----------------| -0-----3-----------------| -------------------------| Chorus "I used to be a little boy..." -0----0--------------------| -1----0-----3--------------| -0----x-----2--------------| -2----2-----0--------------| -3----2-----0--------------| ------0--------------------| (inbetween every bar) ---------------------0---| ---------------------1---| ---------------------0---| ---------------------2---| -3-3-3-3-3-^-4-4-4-4-3---| -------------------------| Then into James's Lovely sololing... --------------------------------------------------| --------------------------------------------------| -14^-14-12-------------0-12-14--14^-14-12---------| -----------14--0-12-14----------------------------| ------------------------------------------10------| --------------------------------------------------| -----------------------------------| -----------------------------------| -----------------------------------| -----------------------------------| -9----9-10-9-10-9-10-9-10----------| -----------------------------------| Then another verse and then a chorus then an outro, with a great lead riff playing: (twice) -----------------------------------------| -8--8-10-12--12-10-12-15--15-15--15-15---| ------------------------0------0---0-----| -----------------------------------------| -----------------------------------------| -----------------------------------------| (four times or something, straight after) -----------------------------------------------------------| -17-17-15-15-15-13-13-13-12-12-----------------------------| -----------------------------------------------------------| --------------------------------9-10-9-10-9-10-9-9-7-7-----| -----------------------------------------------------------| -----------------------------------------------------------|
Not really intermediate. I'd post this as novice. But good all the same.
