tuning - lee ranaldo: DDDDAA (note they use a custom guage of strings, I think

intro: plug in yr guitar with the amp up loud,
before you you play something like

repeat previous riff
then just palm mute the low F# strings and hammer away at em.....
noisy pause..... then back into verse.
after the verse, repeat the fast trem part as above (last thing tabbed),
then go way up over the pickups w/ a slide (an actual glass/steel slide),
and strum away, eventually bringing the slide back down the fretboard,
continuously picking, as the acoustic guitar enters and the band comes
back in.... and finally strike the open F# strings at the end.
