Bass Tab for "Silver Rocket" (my signature song!) by Sonic Youth from the 
album Daydream Nation. Tabbed by Simon (SilvrRockt@aol.com or simong@goodnet.com).

For the riff and chorus ("you got it..."):

A -3-3-3-3-3-3---------3-3-3-3-3-3----- (throughout chorus).
                                        
For the verse ("snake in it, jack into the wall")"
D -7-7-7-7---------
A --------8-8-8-8-8 (throughout verse).
 
On the verse, it also sounds good to do it an octave lower like:
A -0-0-0-0---------
E --------1-1-1-1-1
I've found that this song sounds best with an octave pedal, which gives you
both octaves at the same time and sounds really cool.
