Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now - Starship

       ----------------------------------------

           [Transcribed by Mardi Gras(TNT)]

If there is spacing error, don't worry, it's just my computer - This is not being typed up
a PC or a Mac!

This is a really powerful love song that is in fact, really easy to play. A fabulous
Hammond/Diane Warren song that came out in '87. It went to number 1 in the charts straight away and
in many top movies. It is still one of my all time favourite songs, and since it is not as yet available on the OLGA, I thought I'd post it.

Notes: Throughout verse, mute strings with your right palm.
Verses 1 and 3 are sung by a male vocalist.
Verses 2 and 4 are sung by a female vocalist.
Both male and female vocalists sing the chorus.
For the Coda, male sings the chorus and the female harmonises.
After listening to the track and playing along with it, you should have a fairly good idea
the rhythm, so I have left out the chords for some of the song where repeated previously.

Recommended chords: F 133211
                        E O221OO
                        Bb 113331
                        D xxO232 or even easier, use the open D string C x32O1O

The basic pattern is:

    F E Bb D C E

Well that's all folks... I'll try to post some more when I have the time. I made a guess at the
so don't bet your life on them!

While I'm here, I'd like to know if there is anyone out there who has
anything by Dream Theater, Mr Big, The Rembrandts, No Doubt, Marty Friedman, Steve Vai or Joe
But most of all, I would really like to get my hands on "Sleepwalk". I'm not sure who it's by, but I
know it is an old song with lots of wave and tremelo effects. It is featured in the film, "Sleepwalkers". There is a version already available on the OLGA, but I'm afraid I cannot make head or tail of
Please show evidence of this by posting it in the OLGA. It would be much appreciated.

    Thanks... C-ya 'round! =)

Pretty much every time you have an E Chord marked is inaccurate. You'll want to replace most of those with a Dm chord. I didn't check your work on the key change in the last chorus , but the progression at that point would be F#,Ebm,B, C#. VERY IMPORTANT: I might have missed this but with the progressions used you want to make sure and tell the readers to use a capo on the first fret or transpose a half-step up.
