i watched lynch do the song and i know he does it differently but this just came up when 
heard this and the intro to motivatin to Sum 41 and they sound similier. so this is 
a simpler version

Instead of:

you can do this:
1[----------------]
2[----------------]
3[----------------]
4[--5------X-X-X--]
5[--7------X-X-X--]
6[--7------X-X-X--]
