The Joker - Steve Miller Band Bass Tab Here's the correct version in the correct key (F#), with the correct timing. Listen closely and compare it to this 'YouTube' Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nIHP9o6X6D8 Each increment = 1/32 note, so 2 inc's = 1/16 note, 4 inc's = 1/8 note, 8 inc's = 1/4 note, etc. There are no sustained notes - each note is a 1/16 note. Intro/Verse (2 repeating measures) - 4/4 @ 86 bpm 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + G|--------------------------------|--------------------------------| D|------------------------------1-|--------------------------------| A|--------------1-2---2-------4---|4---4---------1-2-2-2-2-1-1-----| E|2---2-------4-------------------|------------4---------------4-4-| ... ISS5731: No, it really is F#... Good tab! Only one that's right I've seen so far...
The key is definitely F#. Listen to the song and play along and it's very obvious! This is the only correct tab for the bass part :)
