An Undesired Reunion
Still Remains
The Serpent (2007)
Hey world this is my interpretation of Still Remain's song "An Undesired Reunion", minus the
solo. (any help there would be much appreciated).
There are a lot of parts on this tab that are mainly things I play to cover up where my
band is lacking a keyboard, so don't start telling me how parts are different from the actual song.
I know they are. I want them that way. If you don't like it how I have it, GET A KEYBOARDIST!!!

thank you.

if anyone can tab the solo, especially with both parts harmonized, PLEASE email it to me at
cjmeserole@yahoo.com.

tuning: (low to high) dadgad
alright, the tuning is a little weird, but I got that directly from Jordan Whelan, the guitarist
for Still Remains, so it's right. Just tune your low E string down to a D, tune your B string
down to an A, and tune your high E string down to a D.

Verse:

The first part of the verse is all piano, but I usually cover it up playing with these chords
(change with the piano chords' progression):

d-----------------------------------------:
a-----------------------------------------:
G--7--5--3--2-----------------------------:
D--7--5--3--2--0--------------------------:
A--5--3--1--0--0--------------------------:

Then the guitars come back in

Gtr. 2 (0:45)
d---------------------------------:

G---------------------------------:
D---------------------------------:

D--7h8-7--------------------------:

Gtr 2 plays palm muted chords, while Gtr 1 plays this:

G-----------------------------------------------:
D-----------------------------------------------:
A-----------------------------------------------:
D-----------------------------------------------:
*this note IS NOT right, but it sounds good there
**do bends etc to mess with this note, it's hard to figure out what he plays here

Chorus: (both guitars)
d--------------------------------------:
a--------------------------------------:
G--------------------------------------:
D--8--------5-------10-----------------:

then repeat the first line of the chorus.

Verse 2:
same as verse one, except if you play my version of the first half instead of the piano,
I like to play the chords clean the first time, then distorted the second time.
Othe than that, the verses are the same.

Chorus:
same again

Buildup to Solo:

Then it's the solo, which, as I mentioned, I do not have yet. It's both guitars harmonized
so there is no background for me to figure out either.

After the solo, it goes back to the chorus again with a different interlude between vocal
phrases:
