Stone Temple Pilots
Simplified interpretation - intended to be close enough to jam to, not exact! I offer,
hopefully, all the breakdown and detail you need to get started on this classic. Add in
complexity as desired with other tabs. I've migrated about 5 tabs into this version, and
modified some of that to an easier set. Now, this has just become the way I play the song
all the time, so I thought I'd share. (Oh, and below is the best breakdown of the intro).
Tuning: Down 1 whole step (to D) (1/2 step works nicely too)

Chord Notes:
The chords of contraversy are going to be the G barre and Gm. The closest tab shows a Eb7/G
(365333) played for both of these. Though, that didn't sound right and was hard to play
(maybe the later is why it sounded off to me). I think the Gm with the mellower Chorus 1
("where you going for tommorrow...") strumming and mutes sounds pretty cool (even if not
exact). Then switching to a regular G bar in the main Chorus ("when the dogs to find
her...") sounds just fine for rocking it out a bit more (changing things up, etc). Same
thing with the regular F barre, sounds just fine to me, and matches up with my Gm and G
barre nicely. If my chords are too simplified, tinker with them. But, I layout the song and
break it down it with good enough detail that this version should be useful.

The intro definitely sounds better in D tuning, but the rest of the song works, but is a bit dark (as someone pointed out) and may be better in std tuning. Maybe that's why I stately I like it 1/2 step down - meets both half way. Let me know what you think and I'll adjust my tab, if needed.
Gm should be a Eb
Gm should definately be a EbMaj7/Bb but nice chord chart otherwise. Can't give it 5, but soo close!! =)
