Artist: Sum 41 Song: The hell song Album: does this look infected? Tabbed by: Nick Allan Email: ERG121_406@hotmail.com This song is the first non single song that has been tabbed that i have found on Sum 41's new album. This song is the first on the album and one of the best. This tab is 100% correct apart from some parts in the lead but loads of distortion should sort that out. any suggestions or corrects email me. Hey man, killer tab! Looks the same as how I play it. I prefer drop-D instead of standard, that way you don't have to bother shutting up an open and ringing E string all the time. Anyway, you left all out but the little riff near the end during the chorus. Here it is for you, and for all reading this:
P = Pinky
F = F**k finger
I = Index Finger
3 = Ring/Third finger
E----------------------------------------
B----------------------------------------
G----------------------------------------
D--4--2--1--------------6----------------
A-----------4--2--1-----6----------------
D--------------------4--6----------------
P F I P F I I 3
very nice tab
but i think the chorus should be:
e|-------------------------------------
B|-------------------------------------
G|-----------9--9-9--4--4-4------------
D|--6--6-6--9--9-9--4--4-4--4--4-4-----
A|--6--6-6--7--7-7--2--2-2--4--4-4-----
E|--4--4-4------------------2--2-2-----
this is an approach to the strumming used but im trying to say that E5 shoudl be the high one
I agree with the last comment. I listened to it on "Karoeke mode" or whatever and it is an octive higher E. Try pulling out your headphones until they are barely in. You can cut out vocals and bass, as well as a lot of the drums and all you get is the guitar. This is what I do when I study music. :)
