Here are the chords for Dirty Old Town (an Ewan MacColl song) as played by Ted Leo
on Tell Balgeary, Balgury Is Dead.
I don't know if it's actually played in E, that's just how I play it. You can
transpose it as necessary.
The A/C# chord is played x4222x, and the E7 chord is 020100 (not the other way).
Everything else is standard.
E A E (1h2p1 on the g string)

A/C# Abm A B
Dreamed a dream by the old canal

This sounds good. I've seen a few live shows and I think he plays it in the key of C. I think the chords that he uses are (going from what's already up there),
C, F, C,
Em, Am, F, G,
C, Em, Am, G,
F, G, C.
Or something like that.
