I recommend playing it with fingers using this rhtyhm pattern, but don't be afraid to 
what you see fit.
Strum all the strings when switching to Em (in the duration of a quarter note) then 
using this pattern.
Slowly strum chords at the end of the song (after the [rest]).
When it comes to the D chord, switch between the 4th string (D) and 5th (A) in the bass, 
you actually play D/A chord.
