The Cribs: "I Should Have Helped"

Capo 3rd Fret (All chords listed are relative to capo)

                   C F
You should take it back in no circumstance
       G
I understand, remember
    C F
The man on the street is wrong
  G
again

  F G
I used to think I knew something that
   C
No one else knew
  Am
I was a fool
       F G
When a lonely voice in a lonely town
     C
Just couldn't tell
  A7 F G C
I should have helped out

                    C
And the times you'd wait
                     F
Outside the corn exchange
                 G
With ghosts and rain
          C F
You were lost when the cloud came down
      G
My friend

       F
When a loved one's dead
         G
You look at the sky
     C Am
In a different way, but that's OK
    F G
Cos perfect things still can break your heart
       C
That's not to say
    A7 F G C
I'd ever change that
    F G
There's always still guilt
  C

I think on the verse you can play an AM after the C. I works eitherway in my opinion. But great tab, thank you
